 San Francisco (September 18, 2009) – Sports Interactive & SEGA® of America, Inc. today announces Football Manager™ 2010 formerly known as Worldwide Soccer Manager in North America. The game will be available on multiple platforms including the PC, Apple Macintosh and for the first time ever Football ManagerHandheld 2010 will be available via download for the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system in North America. The game will be available for download purchase on October 30th, 2009; boxed editions will be available on November 2nd, 2009 exclusively at Amazon.com.  Football Manager 2009 is the most successful in the Football Manager series to date, selling in over 1 million copies worldwide. According to data gathered from Football Manager 2009, people played the game for an average of 240 hours each and developer Sports Interactive has spent the last year working closely with consumers and the Football Manager community to implement key improvements to this year’s game. Football Manager 2010 features new tools and changes across the board including some big additions to improve ease of use, navigation and feedback from the game with the introduction of a brand new match tactics system, the debut of a Match Analysis tool, a completely new look and new User Interface among other features.  “We have worked very hard with the Football Manager community to target not only the areas of the game that needed re-working but also what we could add to improve what’s already there. We’ve also conducted extensive usability studies which has led us to overhaul the whole presentation of the game, which we’re really excited about,” said Miles Jacobson, Studio Director at Sports Interactive. “There has been a lot of polish to existing areas of the game but it’s also driven us to introduce changes to answer some of the feedback. We’re very confident that having done that we will deliver the very best Football Manager to date in October.”  The introduction of a Tactics Creator makes it easier to instruct the team to play the way the manager wants, alongside the introduction of touchline ‘shouts’ and quick tactic changes for instantly altering your team’s playing style during the match. Working with coaches from various levels of football, alongside some of the Football Manager communities most respected independent tacticians, the game now has an extensive array of pre-set tactical options allowing the user to select a player’s role in the team (such as ‘Ball winning midfielder’ or ‘Deep lying playmaker’), however the option to use the old ‘slider’ controls remains.  Feedback from matches has been improved to give the user better insight into where their team is going, wrong or right. A new Match Analysis tool lets players see where shots, passes, crosses, headers, tackles, fouls and interceptions have been made on the field for all players on the pitch. Managers can view this analysis both live in-game and post match, allowing them to pinpoint the strengths and weaknesses of both their team and their opponent’s and adjust their tactics accordingly.  Football Manager 2010 features a brand new User Interface, with a light or a dark skin to choose from as part of a vibrant new look and has undergone a complete navigational overhaul. The side bar navigation of previous years has been replaced by an intuitive tab system at the top of the screen, making Football Manager’s famed depth easier to navigate and will make the game more accessible to new players.  A brand new Data Editor will allow the addition of new divisions to existing leagues and of entirely new leagues as well as making it easier to keep the game up to date for free. The delivery of information to the manager has been refined now allowing users to sign up to the News Center, an in-game subscription based newspaper that lets you get the news that you want about the football world and filter out the stories that you do not need, making the football world as immersive as you want it to be. Football Manager 2010 will also feature the return of officially licensed United States Major League Soccer teams and players. As of March 31, 2009, MLS featured 128 players born in 47 countries outside the United States, demonstrating the diversity of Major League Soccer.  2K Games Announces February 9, 2010 Global Street Date for BioShock® 2  

Sequel to the winner of more than 50 Game of the Year Awards marks the arrival of one of 2010’s most highly anticipated titles

  Microsoft Windows Users and iYogi Predict a Surge in Tech Support for Windows 7 Upgrades

Survey Shows That Nearly Half of Consumers Think Upgrading to a New Operating System Will Require Technical Assistance  

New York, NY, September 16, 2009:  iYogi, the on-demand tech services company with a unique global delivery model, announced today the results of a consumer poll regarding support concerns and predictions for the upcoming launch of the new Microsoft Windows 7  operating system.  Based on responses from more than 1,000 Windows XP and Windows Vista users, 52 percent think that moving to a new operating system and moving their data is a hassle, suggesting some real frustrations on the near horizon. Nearly half (47 percent) think upgrading to Microsoft Windows 7 may require a call to technical support – potentially causing a huge backlog of support needs, as up to 40 million copies of Windows 7 are expected to be sold in 2009, according to IDC. “We predict that more than 40 percent of XP users will generate support calls and inquiries globally this year and even more in 2010 as mass adoption kicks in and people face the prospect of dealing with an entirely new interface,” said Vishal Dhar, President Marketing & Co-founder of iYogi.  “We estimate twice as many support calls for current Windows XP users than Windows Vista users, since Microsoft Windows XP users will require a ‘clean’ install including migrating applications, settings and drivers—a potentially arduous, time-intensive task.”

Additional survey findings reveal: 

·         58 percent of users think they will or may upgrade to Windows 7, an encouraging number considering some of the backlash surrounding Vista

Digital audio inputs include 1 coaxial and 3 Toslink optical, plus 2 analog RCA stereo pairs. Each audio input can be assigned to any video input. One optical digital output and one coaxial digital output are also provided for audio connections to A/V receivers without HDMI inputs.The iScan Duo automatically detects the display’s preferred format and outputs it to the display, making setup a breeze. Formats can also be customized, up to 1080p60, and 1080p24. Additional resolutions are provided for PC use, such as 1920x1200.Thirty-five built-in test patterns are available to optimize display settings. Accurate playback of film–based content is assured by Progressive Cadence Detection and Right Rate framerate conversion, which enable 24/Hz and 25Hz output from film-based content at 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080p resolutions.Mosquito Noise Reduction reduces the video noise typically present in compressed SD and HD source material. Fine Detail Enhancement finds and extracts fine details in low resolution and overly compressed images, and Edge Enhancement sharpens image edges, without ringing.

Precision A/V Lipsync uses an intelligent digital audio delay technology to eliminate problems with video lag. It automatically compensates for the video processing delay of the Duo, and provides manual adjustment for delays present in sources.
AutoVFR™ intelligent component video inputs provide automatic video format routing, and AutoCUE-C™ technology automatically detects and removes chroma artifacts caused by incorrect upsampling of chroma signals by MPEG decoders in source components.For gamers, the iScan Duo’s Game Mode has very low latency to ensure that gaming performance will not suffer due to video processing delays. The edge adaptive processing mode has less than one frame delay.The iScan Duo also provides full-frame timebase correction, and its overscan and underscan features allow the entire active image to be displayed on any display, regardless of its capability.The processor can be controlled with its dedicated IR remote control, front panel controls, or through an RS-232 serial port. Its back panel includes an IR remote input and output jack for use with an IR repeater. A mini USB port allows connection to a PC or Mac for firmware upgrades. For the first time, players can create and command their own team of eight Soul Reapers. In team-based battles, players decide where to place their team on the campaign map and also how to customize their character’s powers with the experience points they received through winning battles.  With exciting revelations and a lot more choice and strategy, BLEACH: The 3rd Phantom™ will thrill both RPG and BLEACH fans.              In BLEACH: The 3rd Phantom players can choose what skills and abilities they want their team of Soul Reapers to have. Experience is gained during each battle and from there players can choose what and how they want their characters to level up.  When players engage in combat, the DS screen changes perspective and displays a perspective reminiscent of the BLEACH DS  fighting games. In this view, players can watch characters engage in battle with beautifully stylized animation that looks stunningly close to the anime. Once players complete the single player campaign, a new mode called “BLEACH Tower” is unlocked. Gamers can then continue leveling up their party as well as unlock special characters and team up Soul Reapers, Hollows and Arrancar on the same side.
